   The ceramic insulated heat block is a pretty intelligent design aspect. It heats up quickly due to the lower level of loss. The only issue I see is that you can’t change heating elements which means that you won’t be able to use this hot end with hotter materials and take advantage of the gorgeous heat sink design. Great for ABS and some other higher temp filaments but you’re limited with some Nylons and peek. This was a direct swap for the Ender 3 pro.

   While this hotend wasn't made specifically for the older CR-10 printers they did provide the hardware and instructions to make it happen.
   The only thing I did differently was to solder the connections rather than use the butt joints they provided. The process only took about 15 minutes and now I have a ceramic hotend capable of 300C!
